During the summer of 2009 I created an Identity for the OFTC’s (Oregon Fair Trade Counsel) commemoration of the 1999 WTO protest in seattle. I created fliers, collateral material, and a website with a blog roll. Their site is at http://www.december5.org.. It’s busy season in the No Hope world… Anyways here’s some samples of what I made for them..
Axium is a A/E industry software company, I worked in the marketing department as a graphic designer/Illustrator. I created HTML emails, web banners, original graphics, promotional material, logo’s, and internal marketing material.
I am constantly trying to keep my favorite artwork and use it for my own promotional use. Not really, but I want to show myself in my own creative light.
AEHAP – Association for Environmental Health Academic Programs. I have created a Brochure, Poster and worked for this non-profit agency since October of 2007. This agency goal is to enhance environment health education, to assure the optimal health of people and the environment.
I worked at Factory Direct International for 6 months in 2007. I basically received a crash course in Apparel design, creating hats and apparel for golf courses and popular clothing companies all across America. The company is based out of Findlay, Oh and is going into its tenth year. For more information on Factory Direct International go to FDIzone.com
The production company makes movies and interactive work. They contacted me to create a series of posters for a short documentary on a aluminum tycoon from Michigan. The idea was to basically make up satirical mock movies about him. I ended up making four posters 31″x 40″ posters using their stock photos and my own stock.
I created a logo and identity for the group. They had approached me to complete an idea the owner had for a logo incorporating basic script. I wanted to make sure they kept a professional look throughout the process and didn’t come off looking like the matrix. This was achieved by making sure their typography was professional and clean. “The Far Outhouse” was originally named by a professor of mine. He said it matched my decent and weirdness that the book seems to capture (plus there is a outhouse on the cover). The contents of the book is quick idea drawing I did over the course of my senior year in college. I would literally sit down every night and do prisma-color marker drawings on scraps of paper. Some are ok, some are great, but I feel that is how most artists ideas are. They do not show their process on this kind of scale or have the courage to put all their ideas on display. I create each book by hand, perfect bind and all. So if you want one you will have to contact me and assure it’s going to a good home. Below are some of the pages and the cover.
This is a 4 color process free standing insert for the BG News. A class project turned into actually published work.
I created a instalation type campaign for the program to try and help raise awareness. This was in responce to the program being shut down, where 10,000 plus women were forced to use the county safe advocates instead of having advocates on campus.
